Donation & Partnering
Lifeline’s family, marriage, children and individual services ministry is a Christian counseling resource provided by our caring Christian counselors as a missionary outreach online resource for Atlanta and all of Georgia (GA) and beyond to help families and individuals from infancy through adulthood through counseling. In a very related way we also help save and restore households, guide relationships and bring healing and recovery to families in troubled situations, individual crisis and other personal issues.
Our ministry work began as a leading from the Lord in November 1992 to help struggling families, marriages, and individuals be able to receive hope in hopeless situations. What began as a humble beginning has blossomed into a national and international family, marriage, and individual counseling outreach.
To meet the overwhelming needs facing family individuals, dysfunctional families, and broken homes our dedicated counselors make themselves available in office and by immediate 24 hour telephone counseling and in emergency crisis intervention situations. Our heart-to-heart counseling helps families succeed in life. We like to think of ourselves as a one-stop resource for all of your counseling needs.
Lifeline Counseling Ministry, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia is an independent counseling ministry managed by Reverend Joseph A. Elisa, Counselor. He operates with the objectives of providing specialized services together with his wife, Rev. Althea R. Elisa, counselor.
As a Minister for over 36 years he has served the community in counseling and humanitarian services. His solid commitment is provided with care and concern for all families, couples, individuals, and groups who seek a high value oriented counselor.
My Experience
I receive a personal satisfaction in seeing marriages, children and family relationships work. Having been raised by a single parent I know the negative emotional effects and challenges that can be faced when children experience the plight of a broken home. It is a very cruel disease that is eating at the very heart of our nation's central nervous system. Not only do I work to stop this attack from further injury upon homes and the hearts of defenceless children, but I also provide assistance wherever situations arise that creates trouble and hurting for them and their families. It has been my counseling experience that the negative side effects of a broken home contributes to children who are more likely to use drugs, drop out of school, and become involved in debasing dating relationships that seem for them to be an endless cycle. They are more likely to have repeated abortions or give birth to a child out of wedlock when they have experienced such a crippling past due to family rupture. The debilitating effects of a broken home on these children are not always immediately obvious, but eventually they lead to children at-risk, adolescent imprisonment, juvenile delinquency and putting an unnecessary burden on our society through anti-social and rebellious behavior.
Mission
Our mission is to provide families, marriages, children, and individuals with counseling resources to enable them to escape family break up, increase peace and unity in their household, and to assist them in developing into healthy, well-rounded and productive individuals. In order to accomplish our goal we are asking that you partner with us. This very important fabric of society is many times overlooked. A strong society, nation, or country is built on strong homes and individuals. We help produce these kind of men and women through individual counseling.
Please help us fulfil our God-given mission to safeguard and empower the families and individuals that so desperately need counseling help through our ministry services with your pledge.

We Give All the Glory to God
We are so thankful for your help.
Your giving enables us to do the counseling and the follow up and all the things that the Lord has called us to do.
Why we do what we do is because the Lord has led us to do counseling.
Your giving is not ours personally, it belongs to the ministry.
Everybody that sows (gives) even a dime or a million or more dollars has a part of all the ministry work that occurs, because we could not have done the counseling if we did not have the finances to do it.
Your giving qualifies you to receive from God in your life time now and later in heaven by you helping to help others through counseling. God is that good. It takes finances and partners to do this vast type of ministry He has called us to do and God will reward you.
